São Jorge Cheese Aged 4 months DOP (Denominação de Origem Protegida) is a cured cheese from semi-hard to hard paste, yellowish in color, with small, irregular eyes disseminated in the mass of firm consistency, with the cylindrical shape of rounded edges. It is a product with a strong, clean and slightly spicy bouquet aroma and flavor, obtained from raw cow's milk, salt and rennet, with a minimum cure time of 4 months. Due to the aging process and the amount of time this cheese is aged, cheese consistency may be crumbly. 

Ingredients: Unpasteurized cow milk, salt, and rennet.
