Yes. We carefully pack perishable items using insulated packaging and cold packs when necessary to help maintain freshness during transit. We recommend refrigerating items immediately upon delivery.

We currently ship to all states within the continental United States as well as Alaska and Hawaii. Some perishable or frozen products may have shipping restrictions based on destination or transit times.
Portugalia Marketplace ships with FedEx, UPS, and USPS. Shipping charges are non-refundable. In the event your delayed order contains perishables, reach out to us as soon as possible at orders@portugaliamarketplace.com or call us at 508-617-9820 so we can review your order and discuss next steps.
Yes! Due to state regulations on alcohol shipping, we are only able to ship wine within Massachusetts. Please call the market if you are interested.
Yes. We ship to parts of Canada. Please note that international shipments are subject to additional duties and fees. These duties and fees are the responsibility of the receiver.

Yes! We import the majority of our products from Portugal with a few exceptions.
Yes! Portugalia Marketplace specializes in authentic Portuguese products and proudly carries many well-known and trusted brands from Portugal. Our selection includes traditional foods, beverages, pantry staples, sweets, and specialty items sourced directly from Portugal whenever possible.
In addition to established Portuguese brands, we also offer regional and artisan products that reflect Portugal’s rich culinary heritage. Product availability may vary, but our goal is to provide customers with genuine Portuguese flavors and an authentic shopping experience.
Yes! Portugalia Marketplace carries a variety of seasonal and limited-time products throughout the year. Depending on the season, customers may find specialty Portuguese holiday foods, traditional pastries, festive gift baskets, and other seasonal favorites that are available for a limited time.

We are constantly importing products from Portugal, with multiple shipping containers arriving throughout the year to replenish our inventory and introduce new items.
If a product is currently out of stock, we recommend signing up for a back-in-stock notification directly on the product page. You'll be notified as soon as the item becomes available again.
Food & Freshness
Due to the perishable nature of this product, one-day shipping is required from May through September.
Before consumption, Pastéis de Nata must be baked via instructions provided.
Pastéis de Natas must be placed in freezer upon arrival.
Bake from frozen.
Baking Instructions:
Preheat oven to 400° F. Remove Pastéis de Nata from package and place on an oven-safe pan. Keep Pastéis de Nata in their aluminum molds and bake in the oven for 10 to 15 minutes or until desired color is achieved. Once removed from oven, allow to cool, dust with cinnamon and enjoy!
While we ship quickly and cold, a slight increase in temperature upon arrival is acceptable. Cheese typically ferments at temperatures between 68°F and 113°F, and cured meats are smoked to enhance their shelf life. Products must be refrigerated upon arrival.
Our salted codfish is traditionally cured with salt, a time-honored preservation method that helps maintain freshness during shipping. To ensure it arrives in the best possible condition, our salted codfish is sealed in a bag and packed in an insulated sleeve with ice packs before leaving our facility.
Our cured meats are carefully packed in an insulated sleeve with ice packs to help maintain freshness during transit. Upon arrival, we recommend refrigerating or freezing your products.
Many of our cured meat products freeze exceptionally well, allowing you to extend their shelf life while preserving their quality and flavor.
Our cheeses are carefully packed in an insulated sleeve with ice packs to help maintain freshness during transit. Upon arrival, please refrigerate your cheese promptly.
We do not recommend freezing cheese, as freezing can alter its texture and consistency, which may affect its overall quality and flavor.

Merchandise can be returned for a full refund within seven days of receipt of item under the following conditions: merchandise must be in original packaging and in the same condition as shipped. All shipping and handling cost are the responsibility of the buyer. Any discrepancies with your order must be notified to orders@portugaliamarketplace.com within fifteen days from the purchase date. Shipping is non-refundable. Shipments delayed due to weather are not eligible for a refund.
If your package arrives damaged, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery at orders@portugaliamarketplace.com or call 508-617-9820.
To help us resolve the issue as quickly as possible, please include:
- Your order number
- Photos of the damaged package, shipping label, and affected items
- A brief description of the damage
We will review the information and work with you to determine the appropriate resolution, which may include a replacement, store credit, or refund, depending on the circumstances. Please retain all original packaging materials until the claim has been processed.
