The wine is dark purple in color with an electric pink rim and
slight staining of the tears. On the nose the wine has notes
of ripe dark cherry, blackberry, black plum, orange rind with
clove, blueberry preserve, violets, and forest notes. On the
palate the wine has ripe and juicy dark fruit, it is full-bodied
with substantial yet ripe tannin and a long finish.
