The Douro Valley boasts a unique microclimate and soil that are ideal for cultivating olive trees, a tradition that has flourished for centuries. Our olive groves feature traditional varieties such as Cordovil, Galega, Verdeal, and Madural. After being handpicked, the olives are ground in a granite stone mill before undergoing pressing and filtration (exclusively first cold pressing).
Our olive oil is distinguished by its very low natural acidity and a refined aromatic bouquet, evoking the wild herbs and plants that flourish throughout our property.
