It was 1977 when Ângelo Marçal, returned from Angola, opened the door of Casa dos Cafés Portela, with a small machine and some clay cups where we served coffee. At that time, coffee was enjoyed in passing and taken home, as the customer liked.

Today, the Portela spaces (a word that means “small door”) invite you to come in and experience origins, roasting, grinding, in short, the specialty that has always been in the genesis of the brand, but also new aromas, flavors and details that take us, one and back to the passion of coffee again.
