With a history spanning four generations, the Massa family has always been connected to the small town of Freixo de Espada à Cinta in the Douro Superior, and to agriculture through two family-owned farms: Quinta Arribas do Douro and Quinta d'Alva. Covering a total of 130 hectares, primarily consisting of vineyards and olive groves cultivated using traditional and organic methods, our farms are situated along one of the most picturesque borders between Portugal and Spain. They share a 2 km boundary with the Douro River within the International Douro Natural Park. On these farms, we harmoniously transform our raw materials into our carefully crafted Arribas do Douro wines, olive oils, and gourmet products.
