After serving in the Peace Corps, Carissa began studying herbalism and discovered that herbal formulas are most effective when people genuinely enjoy them. At the same time, Adam was working within the local food system, helping connect farms and schools, where he witnessed how positive experiences with fresh foods encouraged healthier choices. Together, they recognized a shared truth: lasting wellness often begins with small moments of delight. From that realization, Town Farm Tonics was born.

Following the presentation, guests will enjoy a cocktail-making class led by Jared Dauphinais, a professional bartender since 2013. During his career, Jared has worked at several notable New York establishments, including the acclaimed speakeasy Up & Up and the celebrated restaurant Lafayette. Today, he serves as Lead Bartender at O'Brien & Brough Distilling Co. in Bristol, Rhode Island, where he helps develop and distill the botanical spirits used in the distillery's cocktail program.

Jared will guide participants through the creation of two botanical-inspired cocktails, sharing techniques, flavor-building principles, and insights into how carefully crafted spirits and fresh ingredients come together in the glass.
