Queijadas da Graciosa

Queijadas da Graciosa, crafted by Maria de Jesus Santos Bettencourt Félix, is a delectable regional sweet that perfectly embodies the essence of Graciosa Island in the Azores. Known as one of the most famous sweets in the Azores, Queijadas da Graciosa have a star shape, with a delicate flavor, a thin and crispy outer crust, and a creamy filling made of eggs and milk, with a hint of cinnamon.

Made with all natural products 100% from the Azores, such as 100% Azorean milk, 100% Azorean butter, and 100% Azorean sugar, these traditional queijadas boast a deliciously creamy texture and a distinct sweet flavor.

In addition, its preparation has never been fully revealed and the correct amount of ingredients are kept secret by local confectioners, making it a "mystery" to this day.
