Dry Split Fava Beans

Dry split fava beans, also known as split broad beans, are a type of legume that have been harvested when mature, dried, and then split in half to remove the hard outer shell. This process makes them quicker to cook and easier to digest. They have a nutty, earthy flavor and can be used in a variety of dishes such as soups, stews, and our favorite, fried and salted! They are also a good source of protein, fiber, and other essential nutrients.

To prepare dry split fava beans, they must be soaked overnight before boiling, frying, roasting, or pressure cooking.
