Silampos was founded in 1951 by César in Oliveira de Azeméis, Portugal. In the 1960s, the company produced Portugal's first pressure cooker, earning nationwide fame and recognition. Since then, Silampos has specialized in stainless steel cookware and expanded its product range.
The Campos family took the helm at Silampos, driving the company's restructuring and acquisition of new equipment to enhance capacity, productivity, and quality. This strategic move solidified Silampos' position in the domestic market and facilitated its entry into export markets, establishing it as the leading Portuguese company in the residential metallic cookware sector.
