Tomelo  ,  Eco Desenvolvimento, Lda was created in 2006 and has been at the genesis of initiatives to enhance the Trás-os-Montes region, especially in the municipalities of Vimioso and Miranda do Douro. The best known will be the creation of the Tomelo CLEO Donkey Milk Cosmetic Line  with donkey milk from the only indigenous Portuguese donkey breed, currently threatened with extinction.
